Aistė Vaitkevičiūtė

Aistė Vaitkevičiūtė joined PPMI as in September 2020 as a junior researcher to work in the areas of gender equality and social inclusion. She has educational background in public policy with a focus on human rights, gender and intersectional inequalities. Prior to PPMI, Aistė gained work experience interning as a research assistant at Colby College and the Institute for International Humanitarian Affairs at Fordham University in New York, volunteering for a humanitarian disaster relief effort, and working as a project coordinator in the non-profit sector. At PPMI, Aistė primarily contributes to projects related to gender equality and social inclusion. She is skilled in qualitative and qualitative research methods, specifically interviews, case studies, gender and intersectional policy analysis, desk research, and descriptive statistical analysis. Aistė is fluent in Lithuanian and English and has a working proficiency of German.
