PPMI to contribute to a study on digital labelling of EU fertilising products

PPMI, together with lead partner Centre for Strategy & Evaluation Services (CSES) and external experts, will conduct a study to support the Impact Assessment on the use of digital labelling for EU fertilising products. The study is contracted by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW).

This study will look at options of introducing the possibility to digitalise parts of EU fertilising product labels on voluntary basis, as alternative or complement to physical labels, and the associated impacts. The overall objective of this study is to identify suitable policy options on how to communicate the labelling requirements of EU fertilising products in the most efficient way. PPMI and partners will use a variety of methods, including but not limited to desk research, interviews, surveys, focus groups, usability tests, and survey-based experiments, to analyse the potential impacts of introducing digital labels.
