In August 2020, PPMI kicked off a new study on Platform work in the Eastern Partnership countries for the European Training Foundation (ETF).
While platform work has been increasingly investigated in the EU – including several contributions by PPMI – a little is known about this phenomenon in the EU’s Eastern neighbourhood. This exploratory study will aim to shed more light on the prevalence, specifics and challenges of platform work in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. To deliver the answers, we will implement wide literature review and desk research activities, as well as interview programmes with national stakeholders through a network of national experts in the target countries.
The intermediate and final outputs of the study will be continuously disseminated though ETF’s Open Space, social media and international researcher networks.
