Lithuanian mid-term human resource demand forecast has been concluded at the end of May as a team of PPMI researchers provided the final report to the Lithuanian Monitoring and Forecasting Agency (SIPA).
Initially, the forecasting model was designed and first used in 2014 by PPMI. As the period of the forecast has expired, the client requested for the same model to be used with the latest available data. The findings will be used in planning and implementing Lithuanian human resource policy because the topic is becoming increasingly discussed as Lithuania is undergoing education system reform, and - within the economic development - country’s labor market’s skillset demand is rapidly changing.
The renewal of the forecast proves the module’s robustness and effective practical application in the policy making process.
