PPMI completes the study on creativity as a transversal skill

PPMI has completed a study ’Creativity – a transversal skill for lifelong learning. An overview of existing concepts and practices’ for the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC).

The aim of the study was to summarise, juxtapose and reflect upon the existing concepts, definitions, and frameworks of creativity, compile an inventory of existing initiatives aimed at fostering creativity, and study eight cases in depth. The research focused on the vocational education and training, higher education and non-formal learning which had not been much explored yet, but also covered compulsory school education, which had already been more extensively researched. The study followed a qualitative approach and included a comprehensive desk research, survey, interviews, and comparative cross-case analysis.

Research results on the existing concepts of creativity has been published by the JRC and can be accessed here.

Stay tuned for the publication of the final report in December!
