PPMI is leading a consortium which has been recently contracted to carry out an Evaluation of the EU Agencies under the remit of DG EMPLOYMENT: EUROFOUND, CEDEFOP, ETF and EU-OSHA. The objective of this contract is to provide an external, independent evaluation of the four Agencies as regards their relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence and EU added value – both individually and in a cross-cutting perspective.
The project will be based on desk research, analysis of monitoring data and a large-scale field research, including interview programmes, surveys and an online public consultation. These methods will reveal the views of each individual Agency’s management, staff, stakeholders, beneficiaries and the public. At the later stages of this assignment, the consortium will also prepare case studies to address the cross-cutting perspective, and organise a workshop to test the evaluation conclusions.
The assignment was commissioned by the DG EMPLOYMENT. PPMI will lead the project execution and will carry out the individual evaluations of EUROFOUND and CEDEFOP, while consortium partners Ecorys will evaluate ETF and EU-OSHA.
